Crock pots are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I can throw all the ingredients into the pot in the morning, and let it cook until dinner time. Meanwhile I can get my TO DO list done, or at least check off a few things. ;)
Here's the finished product and it was AMAZING! I was shocked that my 3yr old son, who basically lives on Japanese white rice and tofu, finished off his bowl within minutes! He thought it was fun to top it with shredded cheddar cheese - it's the little things that get their interest. Kids love cheese!
The recipe made a good amount for our little family of 4, with extra to fill 2 quart sized freezer bags to save for another day. Freezer storage bags work great, because you can lay them flat for freezing and stack them neatly. This is a recipe worth saving! Thank you Danielle from Delightfully Sweet Life.
